Falconer is discharged from the police force, but reinstated. Frankie and Mitch take Thomas George to audition for a TV commercial. Evelyn asks Big Al to sponsor a TV show starring her -- without Alex.

Teddy proposes to Falconer, Big Al proposes to Alex and Truman asks Bea for a divorce.

The sisters learn of a possible half-sister. Frankie dates a man she met at a single parents meeting. Teddy worries over Falconer's attachment to his ex-wife.

Big Al is found guilty of tax evasion. Cat goes on a date with a young man but panics when he attempts to kiss her. The Reed sisters don't qualify as bone marrow donors for Charlotte, their half-sister.

Teddy finds Trevor eating food from a garbage can. Mitch pretends he is married to Norma so she won't have to tell her parents she's a lesbian.

Alex learns she is going to be a grandmother and that her cancer may have returned. Frankie is jealous of Mitch's new girlfriend, Abby. Teddy is stalked by a deranged criminal, but Falconer returns to provide police protection.

Naomi Judd appears as a guest on Alex's TV show. Falconer proposes marriage to Teddy. Trevor returns home during a tornado.
