Sitar Banbas is the dramatization of a section from the epic Ramayan. Sita bears Ram’s child but his subjects look down upon him as Sita had spent a year in Lanka. Ram sends Sita to the forest for exile where she meets Valmiki and gives birth to Luv and Kush. Later they grow up and visit Ayodhya and misjudge Ram for sending Sita into exile.
