Leonidas, a young police graduate, has been assigned to a small, sleepy island in the Aegean. Dreaming of solving serious crimes in the big city, all he does is fruitlessly chase traffic offenders and watch Angelikis' morning show with the locals at the café - a daily ritual, as the beautiful Angelikis is the island's most famous daughter.
