Botanist Dr. Parrish finds his expedition into Tibet turned into a Yeti hunt when the hairy horror kidnaps the wife of the group's guide. When they capture one of the giant creatures, they decide to bring it back to America... but immigration hold them up, and the creature's soon loose roaming the sewers of Los Angeles with scientists and authorities in hot pursuit! It's a monster favorite and the first sci-fi film featuring the oversized oaf.
