Ditzy but lovable Asuna aims to train for an upcoming tournament with her three friends in the Soft Tennis Club, but it seems the girls are doing anything but training!

At school, Asuna meets Elizabeth, a transfer student, who becomes embroiled in a series of romantic tensions between Kotone and their coach, Mishimagi.

The girls give training their all, despite inclement weather. Later, a visit to the hot springs is in order.

Mishimagi drives the Soft Tennis Club into town for an exciting shopping trip to buy new equipment after a racket breaks.

Mishimagi reminds them that the match is tomorrow and the drills go into overdrive! Kotone is distracted, and sullenly reflects on her feelings for their coach.

Hakuou Middle School finally faces off against Akadama Middle School! Asuna and Kotone struggle during their Doubles match against surprisingly skilled opponents.

Pool party! A spy infiltrates Hakuou's club to gain an unfair advantage, engaging in swimsuit fun instead. A training expedition is cut short by a trip to the hot springs.

The national champion and president of the Kurodama Middle Soft Tennis Club, Shidou Misaki, makes a surprise appearance. Later, Kotone goes missing!

Shidou offers her assistance to the girls in finding Kotone, with the unexpected help of some high-tech equipment. Meanwhile, Mishimagi takes matters into his own hands.

The girls learn that things aren't always what they seem, after recruiting Yayoi Hiragishi as a new Doubles partner for Elizabeth.

It's fun in the sun when the Soft Tennis Club gets competitive during a beach trip. Later, Kotone and Asuna butt heads, and their first meeting is revealed.

The flashback continues with Kotone and Asuna illustrating their past tennis flaws and how the power of teamwork brought them -- and the club -- to where they are today.
