After a severe accident, Ben Vallier becomes an incomplete quadriplegic. Taken in charge by a rehabilitation center, he begins a long road to recovery. There, he bonds with his new companions, Steeve, Farid and Toussaint, all severely disabled. Together, they will learn patience, friendship and through their humor, they will regain the courage to live again.
