Stone Age The Legendary Pet

People of Tectonika survived after the fall of technology, only in a form of primitive stone-age era residing along with wild dinosaurs. A passionate dreamer Woody, along with a baby pet dinosaur Moga, sets path to become the best pet trainer but often challenged by machine maniac villains.

In Tectonika, a place where humans and dinosaurs coexist, lives a boy named Woody who dreams of becoming a trainer that can tame dinosaurs or 'pets' at will. Then, he runs into a couple of shady characters, machine worshippers Chan and Bob. Woody discovers they're poaching pets, so he takes them on bravely and rescues the captured pets. In the process, he ends up meeting Moga, a baby pet.

Professor Plato tells Woody that Moga is a baby Mogaros, an extremely fierce pet. Excited, Woody announces that he wants to take the trainer's qualifying test. Plato agrees to write him a testimonial if Moga can defeat Kubo in a fight. Woody accepts impulsively, but Moga is no match for Kubo.

With Professor Plato's testimonial in hand, Woody arrives to take the trainer's test. In order to become a real trainer, he must defeat a ferocious cave pet and acquire the strength of the Spirit. Woody enters the cave, defeats Placobi, and arrives at the altar. Suddenly, the villains Chan and Bob appear! Ambushed, Moga gets snatched away.

Finally, Woody has his own StoneReader. He goes out to find himself a new pet and ends up claiming a strange Kaki. He soon discovers that the Kaki is actually the dinosaur expert, Professor Kyle, who got combined with a Kaki pet by accident thanks to his assistant Bubbles. Woody takes Kyle, an old colleague of Plato's, to the Dino Lab.

Woody's first mission as a trainer is to look into a Tigerhog that has been attacking people. Although suffering from indigestion, Kyle is forced to join Woody. Woody and crew find out that the villains Chan and Bob, the goons of machine maniac Dr. Thales, are behind everything.

Woody and crew discover an unconscious girl by the river. She says her name is Lucy, but that's all she remembers. Just then, a pet screams out in pain. Clobgor is caught in a trap set up by Chan and Bob. Woody and crew get attacked by the evil duo's mechanical weapons, but thanks to Lucy's nursing skills, Clobgor comes to the rescue and defeats Chan and Bob.

Woody and crew run into Kucoski who is being teased by some village kids. Woody summons out Clobgor to chase the kids away. But Kucoski's funny appearance makes them laugh too. Hurt, Kucoski succumbs to Chan and Bob's brainwashing and starts to attack Woody and crew with mechanical arms. However, thanks to Bubbles' inspirational words, Kucoski recovers his senses.

Bubbles makes a sweet snack for everyone. But the master of disguise Otutu manages to steal the treat right from under his nose. Woody and crew find out that Otutu stole the treat because Chan and Bob threatened it. They end up in a battle with Chan and Bob's ferocious pet Speargor. Unfortunately, Woody's pets are no match for Speargor.

Professor Plato heads to Chief Shamgir's home to tell him of Dr. Thales' evil plans. Plato, Woody and crew relay the information and ask the Chief to have the village trainers reinforce the borders. Just then, the fortuneteller appears, points to Woody and prophesizes that he will save the world.

In need of a strong pet, Woody and crew go in search of an Agoa because it can pack a punch. The Agoa they meet agrees to become Woody's pet if he can defeat him in a match. But, Woody's pets get K.O.'ed one after the other, leaving only the weakest pet, Kucoski.

Chief Shamgir's cherished pet Beachtoise goes missing! Thinking the villains Chan and Bob are involved, Woody and crew search the forest only to discover that Beachtoise is with a trainer named Bambi. To get him back, they start battling. Just when they are about to claim victory, Beachtoise stops them!

The evil villains Chan and Bob successfully win over the fierce pet Yangidon by stroking his macho ego. With Yangidon taking the lead, they hope to defeat Woody and crew. Woody summons out all his pets, but they're no match for him because of his strength and willingness to fight dirty. Backed into a corner, Moga breathes fire and burns Yangidon's scales to a crisp.

To help Lucy remember her past, Woody and crew return to the river where they first found her. Suddenly, a pet called Mui jumps out and attacks them. A sleepyhead, he admits being cranky from a lack of sleep because his cave was taken from him by none other than Chan and Bob! Woody and crew confront the evil duo to get Mui his cave back, but their powerful machine is making things difficult.

Once again defeated by Woody, and breaking yet another piece of machinery, the dreary duo Chan and Bob returns home. Dr. Thales unleashes his fury at them and orders them to bring back all the remains of the machine. While digging for parts, Chan and Bob get into a big fight.

Woody meets Uba, a hunter who dreams of becoming a trainer. Woody tries to teach Uba how to be a trainer, but Uba keeps failing to tame a pet because he either scares them or wants to eat them. Uba asks Woody to show him how it's done by taming a giant Prachius. Woody does his best to persuade the pet, but a massive sneeze flings him onto its head.

Uba discovers a wounded baby Verpus and decides to take it home and tend to it. Though cautious at first, the pet starts to open its heart thanks to Uba's tender loving care. Uba even names it Verpoo. Then one day, Uba accidentally eats some poisonous mushrooms and loses consciousness. Verpoo finds him an antidote and their special bond strengthens.

Deep in the mountain late at night, objects start to disappear and end up floating in the air giving Woody and crew a great fright. However, they can't lose the StoneReader, so despite their fear they chase after it. It leads them to a Wataka, and they discover it's the culprit. Just then, Chan and Bob appear, and they nab the Wataka's magical spirit cap, StoneReader, and Moga as well.

Professor Plato invents a device to help return Kyle to his human form. Plato warns Kyle that the device could cause side-effects, but Kyle's desire to be human again outweighs the risks. So Kyle steps inside the device, however, when he steps back out, only his arms and legs have become human leaving the rest of him still a Kaki!

Woody and crew discover that Pinkpig is lovesick. Pinkpig has a crush on Cowpig, but Cowpig prefers strong pets like Yangidon. So the crew helps train Pinkpig to become strong too. After a lot of hard work, Pinkpig finally feels strong enough to challenge Yangidon to a duel. But knowing how much stronger Yangidon is, Woody asks him to pretend to lose, and that's how Pinkpig wins.

Mistaking a rolled up baby Katargas for a ball, Kyle kicks it. A group of Katargases unleashes their fury on Kyle due to their history of being mistreated by Kakis. Woody and Bubbles try to stop them from ganging up on Kyle. However, Chan and Bob pop out and pet-nap Moga. Woody asks the Katargases for help, but they refuse to help friends of a loathsome Kaki.

Working as a 'bus' in Shamgir Village, Manmo is worried about his son Mambo who frequently ditches work and disappears. So, Woody and crew go look for Mambo. When they find him, he complains that he hates working as a bus. Meanwhile, Manmo has fallen into a trap set up by Chan and Bob and is being controlled by them with a Power Stone. He ferociously attacks Woody and crew.

While helping the sick Fortuneteller, Woody is made to think that he may have caught the disease, so he offers to find the herb that can cure the illness. Afraid they'll catch the disease as well, the others stay behind, leaving only Moga to help. After a difficult journey, Woody finally finds the herb. But the ferocious pet Doravis lies waiting.

Following the Spirit's orders, Woody and crew are preparing to journey across the desert to Katan Village. Bubbles brings his bow and arrows, so he can show off his archery skills in front of Lucy. Encouraged by his friends' praises, Bubbles aims at tougher targets. While flaunting, he ends up shooting near a sleeping Norino and manages to stick fruit up his nose.
