Strange Angel

Jack Parsons ambitiously works his way to send mankind to the moon by building a rocket, when he is not doing his day-time job as a janitor. But things take a mysterious turn when Jack and his wife, Susan meet a new neighbour, Ernest Donovan, who seems to be sharing a similar lifestyle as Jack's.

As Jack and Susan's new mysterious neighbour, Ernest, continue to make the couple feel eery, Jack and Richard get the permission to put together a rocket team for their project.

Jack takes it up a notch with his project by prompting his rocket team to speed up their testing of the experiments, albeit the risk involved in it. Meanwhile, Ernest invites a frustrated Parsons to a discreet gathering.

Jack's rocketery team comes to the limelight and earns them a prestigious invitation to The Athenaeum. But Jack's evening there doesn't go as planned, and along with Ernest, they take a detour around LA.

A dispute arises between Jack and Richard when the latter disagrees with the former on the design of their finalised prototype. The argument leads Jack to leave his team, and along with Susan, spend time with Ernest and Maggie. The get-together brings forth some glaring discussion between Jack and Ernest.

Richard is left in a state of confusion after spotting Ernest in the Rocketry Team's testing facility, but Richard's bewilderment is soon diffused by a mysterious woman. Meanwhile, Jack explores his sensual boundaries with his wife, Susan.

Jack deepens his pursuit of chasing Thelema and Sex Magick to convince General Braxton that reaching the moon is more than just a pipe dream. Richard and the Rocketry Team leave the Suicide Club, as Susan confronts Maggie in regards to her concern for Jack.

In the absence of Jack, Richard travels to Washington D.C. to showcase the team's proposal in front of the Department Of War. Meanwhile, a worried Susan dwells into Jack's strange pattern of behaviour, which leads to his mother, Ruth. Jack continues his pursuit as he gets closer to Thelema, by pushing aside his work for a trip with a disturbed Ernest.

The tables turn as Susan seeks the Grand Magus after realizing that Thelema might be the answer to her psychological wounds. Meanwhile, Jack begins to drift away from Thelema following the religion's failure to deliver its promises. After hitting a roadblock, Richard seeks Jack's help, but the latter is left in a deep dilemma following an offer from Pueblo Powder.

With Thelema still hovering around the heads, the Parsons are left in a wild dilemma about their future! But things begin to look bright between Jack and Richard after the duo bring back the Suicide Club for one final and dangerous presentation to the military. But with the absence of Ernest, will Jack have a successful demonstration?
