Alex and Anna have just had their second child, while Mickan and Fredde await their third. Alex has lost his beloved mum, Margareta, and is finding it hard to cope with his grief.

Fredde is invited to a big-game hunt. Ludde convinces him to get a hunting licence, even though Fredde doesn’t like shooting animals. Alex has found Margareta’s bucket list, inspiring him to create his own.

A new couple move in next door to Fredde and Mickan. Alex and Anna worry that they may have become addicted to wine after the summer and decide to go sober for a month.

Fredde has to take parental leave while Mickan works on her book. Alex wonders if it’s OK to write “hugs” at the end of a text message to one of the mums at the crèche, or would a smiley emoji be better?

Anna’s niece, Wilda, is coming to stay for a few days. Victor has met a girl. Mickan is not happy with Victor’s choice of girlfriend and does all she can to get him back to his old self again.

Anna and Alex have the usual problems that young families have – when will they find time for each other, and when will they have sex? They get advice from Mickan and Fredde, resulting in planned sex on Tuesday evenings.

Following a spate of burglaries in Saltsjöbaden, Ove drums up a sort of “vigilante group” to patrol Solsidan at night. When the burglars hit Solsidan, Ove, Fredde and Alex are all affected in one way or another.

Anna is not happy with her body and is considering surgery to get her stomach back to what it was. Fredde sends Ludde to a tennis match with Alex, which he soon regrets when he sees how well Alex and Ludde get along.

Anna and Alex meet a new couple in Solsidan who invite them to their house in the archipelago for a weekend. Fredde is summoned to appear in court over several alleged crimes concerning drunkenness at sea.

Finally, the baby is going to be baptised after Ove's nagging. Alex and Anna want Fredde and Mickan to be there. But there's one problem - Fredde's not allowed to leave the house because of his ankle tag.
