Sunshine Kings

When one of his friends steals a Porsche and takes Jacob and his basketball teammates on a nighttime joyride, they end up becoming the prime suspects in the assault of a teenage girl.

Jacob returns the stolen Porsche but is startled by the sudden appearance of someone else on the scene. Caught in the act, Jacob faces an impossible choice.

The team is on a winning streak, keeping Jacob's dreams of college basketball in the US alive. But when Jacob receives a VHS tape of his coach, Eddie, spewing racist remarks, their relationship quickly turns sour.

The relationship between Jacob and Eddie remains strained amid the premiership celebrations in Sunshine. But the arrival of an American talent scout convinces Eddie that he must confront his past mistakes to help heal Jacob's anguish.
