When the body of a young woman is pulled from the river, the team believes her murder could be linked to the Bellamy case. Jack pressures his old flame Rose to testify against her shady boyfriend, but is not prepared for some of the secrets she reveals.

Alisha and Gary are called to investigate the rape of a 16-year-old girl. She reports that she was raped on her way home from a party with Rose Harris's daughter, Lucy. Charlie is shocked when Jack admits he has been letting Lucy stay at his flat.

Jack is frustrated after he is asked to sit out when the team comes to investigate Lucy’s kidnapping. A schoolboy named Jimmy arrives at the police station claiming to be Lucy’s boyfriend, but his interview reveals disturbing information.

The body of Sarah Kramer-a young woman who went missing eight years earlier-is found buried in cement. Jack interviews Sarah’s father, who reveals that Martha had been investigating the disappearance. Then the team discovers that Sarah may have a connection to Drummond.

When Alisha is attacked and her evidence to incriminate Drummond is stolen, Jack searches CCTV to try and find a suspect. Drummond turns to desperate measures as the team closes in on him.
