Written by BAFTA-winning artist Victoria Wood, The Day We Sang is a star-studded musical set in Manchester between 1929 and 1969. Imelda Staunton and Laurence Olivier Award winner Michael Ball star as two lonely middle-aged people, Tubby and Enid, who are able to grab a second chance at life when they are reconnected to their emotions by the power of music.
