The Battalion Fire and Rescue TV Series

We meet members of the D.C. Fire and EMS that recollect the events that transpired on 9/11 when they responded to the attack on the Pentagon. Then, we ride with the Captain on Truck 4 to a smoke alarm in an old building, and then another downtown.

Station 10, the busiest station in the nation, Engine 10, Truck 13, (A.K.A. House of Pain) run calls. We drop by the Training Center

Firefighter Eric Kolarick goes through daily routine of making sure all equipment is in working order. Back at the station, the crew responds to several EMS calls.

The 24 starts off with getting people out of a stuck elevator. A call comes, it's a fully involved fire downtown, blocks away from the station. Squad member Bill Rim goes over some of the strangest calls he's received. That night a fire is seen in the upper floor of a Sechuan Gallery chinese restaurant where it's known people that are smuggled into the country are suspected of living.

The Squad 3 crew jump in the back of the Rescue as the head out the door to a call. It's a vehicle accident with a person trapped. The crew moves in to set them free. Later there is shoring training in the station. A call comes in all respond.

Station 6. The Big House. Engine 6 and Truck 4 crews responds to calls. A very special day arrives at a bowling alley where all the firefighters that are not on the job are bowling for the Washington D.C. Burn Center. Then back at Station The Big House when a call comes in. There is smoke showing at a high rise apartment building and both engine and truck units are dispatched.

The crew does a home rescue. On this shift they do there regular tests on the equiptment. The crew is dispatched to a fast food resturant where they treat an injured worker.

At Engine 8 Station 26's Lt. Craig Duck is a firefighter that is all about training. After a huge steak dinner, Lt. Craig Duck sends a firefighter somewhere in the station to inact the "firefighter down" scenario to keep his Engine, Truck and Ambulance crews on their toes. In this webisode, he holds a Flash-Over class.

Firemen JR and his Firemen cousin are allowed to ride on the same rig on the same shift. The respond to an EMS call in the morning and an a apartment fire at night.

Lt. Duck is one of the very few that is always training his crews which consists of Engine, Truck and the Ambo. It's been snowing and cold so he sets up training in the center of the apparatus floor. This episode is about trusting your brother Firemen.

Riding with the crew on Rescue 3 in the Anacostia section of D.C. they catch an EMS call about a bicyclist that was possible hit by a car. The crew responds. Then the Fire Engineer shows us around the Rig and how to use all the fire equiptment.

We ride with the crew from Engine 6 as they help open a stuck elevator and later that night they repond to a vehicle fire.

We follow the crew on a variety of normal everyday events in a firemen life. They view the Division,1905 American LaFrance Steam Engine. Do a "Fill the Boot," fundrasing campaign and respond to a Sixth Floor Apartment Fire.

After a day of EMS calls, Eng. 10 responds to difficult and dangerous apartment fire.

We start off with Engine 6 and a stove fire, then we ride with the crew of Truck 4 as they arrive on-scene at crowded Metro Center underground train to assist a women who has a health issue on the platform

Riding with JR and the Eng. 10 crew they arrive on an EMS call finding a young man that had apparently been caught with another man's girlfriend and the girls boyfriend shot at this guy and the bullets went through both legs.

A newbie firemen starts work at Station 26's while a seasoned veteran prepares to retire. They arrive on an EMS Call where an elderly patient with diabetes with blood sugar is crashing creating a potential emergency. This case is particularly challenging because the gentlemen is hard of hearing and does not want to go to the hospital. The crew stay with him for hours until his sugar is stablized.

The work and training never stops for the firemen at the The Big House. There are chores to do and continual table top training. An a EMS call comes about a residental structure fire. The crew responses.

The squad responses to a call to open an elevator that has shut down. Arson Investagator Chris Holmes from Rescue 3 Squad is on scene of a row-house fire that just got put out. He is begining his investigation to see what the cause of this fire was.

24 Hours with Special Ops on scene of a possible bomb. Eng.16 arrives and must deal with the situation.

The morning starts off early as Tony Kellerher, the Chief of the Fire 100% Volunteers of Kentland in Landover, Maryland as he prepares to leave for his paid job as a firefighter on Engine 6 of the Washington, D.C. fire company. He's barely put his gear on the rig when a call comes in for a structure fire. They arrive on scene of a basement fire of a two story apartment building.

A day with the crew on Engine 12 starts off with a medical call, They respond to a baby being born in a car in the parking lot of a 7/11. The Engineer is very anal about keeping his place which is what they call and engine or a truck.

This episode centers on Fire Station 10, Platoon 4, Truck.13. They run an EMS call to help a diabetic patient that needs assistance. Also we ask the Eng.10 crew why they became firefighters.

Engine Co. 4 is riding with Firefighter Tony Kellerher as he arrives on scene of a smoke filled apt. There is a vehicle accident with persons trapped needing extrication, The rescue unit arrives on scene and the roof needs to be removed to gain access to the injured. Another call comes in and a sick person needs help and is fighting not to go..
