That night a fire is seen in the upper floor of a Sechuan Gallery chinese restaurant where it's known people that are smuggled into the country are suspected of living.

A newbie firemen starts work at Station 26's while a seasoned veteran prepares to retire. They arrive on an EMS Call where an elderly patient with diabetes with blood sugar is crashing creating a potential emergency. This case is particularly challenging because the gentlemen is hard of hearing and does not want to go to the hospital. The crew stay with him for hours until his sugar is stablized.
