Tammie returns home after her journey of self discovery to find her family in strange form. Amidst the chaos of her son's viral fame, her best friend Sheila's drunken hijinks, and her father's involvement in a pyramid scheme, Tammie decides to take a second shot at love.

Sheila convinces Tammie to write and record a song with Billy, but in the studio, creative differences arise that fracture the family in a way that only Sheila could plan.

With the house feeling more empty than usual, Tammie begins to bond with her sister, Ethel. Meanwhile, Sheila finds it increasingly difficult to deal with Billy's new diva antics.

Billy's career is starting to kick off, but his partying is in danger of affecting his performance. Tammie reconnects with her ex-husband, Jackson, who believes Billy might be in serious trouble.
