The Carol Burnett Show

Lucille Ball and Tim Conway make their debuts on the show! Crazy redheads Carol and Lucy dine at Cafe Argentine and rival as rental car agents, and Tim finds himself anchoring a news broadcast with no news, no weather, and partial sports scores.

Lesley Ann Warren joins Don Adams as Carol's special guests. Adams plays late-night show host Donny Bishop, Warren delivers the Frank Sinatra standard "The Best Is Yet to Come," and both join Carol in the hilarious "The Lost Purse" sketch.

Mickey Rooney and John Davidson guest star amidst many laughs in a German Western sketch, the "Rat Race" dating game, and in the show's first backstage movie takeoff, The Funn Family of Broadway. It's the start of something big!

Jonathan Winters and Dionne Warwick guest star. Winters is his usual wacky self, Maude Frickert makes an appearance, and Carol shines as she sings "Come Rain or Come Shine" despite buckets of water being sloshed on her from every direction.

You can't beat guest stars Martha Raye and Betty Grable, especially in the first installment of the show's popular soap opera takeoff, As the Stomach Turns. Plus a "Beautiful Legs Contest," Hello, Dolly! performance, and plenty of crack-ups!

Nanette Fabray, Mel Torme, and Don Rickles guest star. Rickles loses his cool selling shoes, and the whole gang performs in "The Tin Pan Alley" musical. Showbiz may not be pretty, but it's pretty darn hilarious.

Lucille Ball, Eddie Albert, and Nancy Wilson guest star. Lucy joins for Q&As, Eddie and Nancy sing, and everybody joins in for the soap opera spoof As the Stomach Turns with widows Laura (Lucy) and Marion (Carol) playing full-time funeral attendees.

Family show and season three finale. Carol demonstrates her exercise routine, Lyle, Harvey, and Carol are hilarious in the first "Ham Actor" sketch, and this season closer concludes with Carol's Charwoman reflecting on its incredible highlights.

Bob Newhart and Chita Rivera guest star. Rivera plays a black widow spider, a hungover Harvey Korman is blackmailed by Fireside Girl "Alice Portnoy," Newhart brings by his knockout wife, and everyone joins for the salute to MGM Studios finale.

Steve Lawrence and Carol Channing guest star. Steve performs "In My Own Lifetime" and Channing revisits the '20s with "Ain't Misbehavin'." As the Stomach Turns always delivers, and The African Queen stands out in a send-up of Oscar-winning films.

Burt Reynolds and Nanette Fabray guest star. Burt shows his stuntman skills, Nanette performs, and everyone lets it all hang out in The Lavender Pimpernel - Harvey as the Duke de Flambeau, Carol as Gabrielle, and Burt as the "swishbuckling" hero.

Tim Conway and Eydie Gorme guest star. Gorme performs "A House Is Not a Home," Conway and fellow cop Harvey Korman go undercover with Tim as the blond female bait, and Tim sends up Agent 007 in a James Blond caper "Dr. Nose."

Season 5 concludes with a Family Show that's a tribute to Betty Grable from the 1945 movie The Dolly Sisters. Carol and Vicki play Jenny and Rosie "Doily," a pair of talented Budapest bumpkins working with "One-Hit" Harry Handsome (Harvey).
