The Challengers arrive at their first challenge, but are shocked when they learn they will start by competing within their eras. Politics begin as players must plead their case to avoid seeing the biggest elimination night in challenge history.

The Challengers arrive to the Arena to see classic, brutal eliminations from each era awaiting them. 16 people will fight in the sand, only 8 will return. The losers learn they will be sent off with a parting gift of karma for the remaining players.

The eras must now work together to keep their team safe. A gross feast is prepared, and TJ's new twist puts two members of each era at risk of elimination. The winners make things difficult for themselves as they struggle to agree on a decision.

Targets change the game as competitors must learn how to play without knowing if they'll be safe come the next elim. TJ's favorite challenge returns in the form of a Challenge history lesson! A questionable sudden death round seeds internal doubt.

An exhausting challenge leaves an era questioning one of their own, while another era can't get on the same page. A long-standing rivalry between two teammates comes to a head and erupts. Champions collide in an epic, nail-biting elimination.

A challenger must decide between righting their past wrongs or creating a new divide. Another player tries to protect a "friend" in their relationship, but only creates a problem for themself. An entire era grasps at anything to turn the game around.

The Challenge takes the players to never-before-seen heights. The winners must make a heart-breaking decision as to which of their friends must fight in elimination. Target selection causes chaos as player numbers dwindle, leaving less room to hide.
8. The Era of the Gladiator

A battle erupts at the challenge, as the players must find their inner Gladiator to take out their competition and achieve glory... and safety. A vote from one team causes friends to question whether they were ever on the same page.
9. An Era of One

Having seen their entire era whole team lose in elimination, one Challenger must hold their entire era on their back to earn safety. Cracks in an alliance begin to form as relationships across eras create paranoia and uneasiness amongst its members.

The game takes a huge turn as the Challengers must now work as individuals to claim victory, while still repping their era. A hot and grueling challenge has one person seeing double and another, wishing they could use it as an excuse.

The targets are painted on three friends as they must scrape through an intense obstacle course in order to keep themselves safe. One player decides to blow up anyone's game who stands in their way.

The Challengers get their first taste of what a Final could look like, while battling to avoid being purged from the game. One Challenger tries to put the final nail in the coffin for their foe.

Bystanders beware! A rivalry heats up and no one is safe from the chaos that ensues. One Challenger tries to reignite their competitive flame to avoid elimination, while best friends avoid facing off with one another.

A staple of The Challenge sees the players swinging for their safety in the game. One player attempts to break up a solid alliance in an attempt to save their friend in the game.

A win or go in mentality infiltrates one alliance as the Challengers must traverse tight quarters, filled with bats and puzzles, in an attempt to keep themselves safe.

Burger King is getting in on the action, as the Challengers must survive a death-defying plunge and a brutal swim, with a whopper of ramifications if they can't!

The Challengers arrive to a beautiful new landscape where their dreams may come to a screeching halt. The players must stay afloat in an exhausting elimination.
18. The End of An Era Part 1

With all of the eras represented, the eight finalists begin TJ's Final and must endure a gauntlet of intense checkpoints, while a big twist hangs over their heads.

The epic, two-part Final comes to a close as the finalists battle for their chance at a share of one million dollars. An epic twist could see someone's dream taken away from them.

Four eras of Challenge icons clash one last time on the Reunion stage. Laurel and Cara set the record straight. Bananas calls Devin out for being a hypocrite. Surprise guests shake up the reunion and the targeted flip the script on their targeters.

Legendary competitors return to the reunion stage to settle unfinished business. Who was shadiest this season? Is the Vacation Alliance in shambles? Tori and Cara team up? A GOAT is crowned, and surprise guests join the Challenge Reunion celebration.

40 legends arrive in Vietnam to kick off the monumental 40th season. Challengers have been divided into four teams based on the era in which they entered the game.
