Gary is a single parent struggling to raise his son, mickey, on his small truck driver salary. He decides to enter a boxing competition for the five hundred dollar prize. He wins and starts a new career. Pretty soon he's heading for the heavyweight title. Fame and fortune start to go to his head and his friends warn him. Can he bounce back and find himself again?
