In a big dance number, Drew proves that he has recovered, and he is released from the insane asylum. He impulsively marries his former girlfriend, Nicki Fifer, in secret. Meanwhile, Steve leaves Mimi after finding out that she was the cause of Drew's temporary insanity.

The new department store owner, Mr. Newsome, promises to promote Drew but dies from a heart attack after a prank at Drew's Halloween party. Drew takes the body to a board meeting and attempts to use ventriloquism to convince the others to implement Mr. Newsome's good ideas. Meanwhile, to save money, Lewis goes to a low-cost dentist, Dr. Kresheck.

Drew finds himself reluctantly playing sex therapist to his parents, Beulah and George. Mimi gives advice to Beulah on how to invigorate her marriage, but the results threaten to ruin Beulah and George's relationship instead. Meanwhile, Oswald and Lewis build a "killerbot" to enter into a competition at the Warsaw, the gang's favorite hangout.

Drew awakens to find himself in a dog pound in Nashville, Tennessee, handcuffed to Ratzenberger, who helps Drew recall how he got there through a series of flashbacks.

Meanwhile, Oswald woos a pretty nurse, Colleen, by bringing a dead man back to life.

Drew's adventures in baby-sitting go terribly wrong after he finally convinces Mimi to let him take care of King Gus, Mimi and Steve's infant son, for the weekend. Observing Drew, King Gus learns some bad habits that jeopardize his chances of winning the Winfred-Louder "Beautiful Baby" contest. Meanwhile, Oswald and Lewis borrow a baby to enter in the pageant--with disastrous results.

Milan's divorced mother, Lindsay, a former model, becomes enamored with Drew and his "simple" lifestyle. Meanwhile, Milan loans her snobbish butler, Helford, to Mimi for a week.

The cast of "The Drew Carey Show" performs this episode without a script, using only an outline with no written dialogue. In the episode, Drew's home becomes a protected nesting ground when a bald eagle lands on his roof. The bird later vandalizes the house. Kathy (KATHY GRIFFIN - "Suddenly Susan"), a prospective employee who asks Drew out on a date, is traumatized when the eagle eats her dog.
