The Drowning

A small boy vanishes by a lake, presumed drowned. Nine years later, his mother is certain she sees him, but when met with disbelief, she takes matters into her own hands.

Jodie opens old family wounds when she sets off on a dangerous journey to prove the boy is her abducted son.

Jodie uses a home testing kit to take a sample of Daniel’s DNA and makes plans for them to travel abroad, before having a confrontation with Mark.

Faced with contradictory evidence, Jodie fears for Daniel’s safety. At the lake where it all began, she finally learns the horrific truth of what happened to her son.
