Supermodels Naomi Campbell, Erin O'Connor, and Caroline Winberg begin their search for The Face: the girl who will become the next Face of a national campaign for Max Factor. From thousands of aspiring models around the U.K and Europe, just 24 girls have been invited to London to take part in the final casting round.

The teams compete in their first challenge. Working with world-renowned photographer, Ellen von Unwerth, they must create a photograph for iD magazine. Only one team can win -and the winner of each challenge will select a girl from the losing team to be sent home.

The Outnet asks the teams to put on their first-ever catwalk show, at the opulent Goldsmith's Hall in London, in front of a VIP audience. As ever, one girl from the losing team will be sent home.

Supermodel Rosie Huntingdon-Whitely wants the teams to create an advertorial photograph for her new M&S lingerie collection. She briefs the supermodels, and then watches the shoot, and judges the final photos. Only one team can win and competition is fierce.

Maserati needs an advert for their new luxury saloon, the Maserati Quattroporte. Working with award-winning ad director, Sam Washington, the 3 teams each strive to create the best possible car commercial.

Models today need to know how to handle themselves in public. The teams face the press this week. First, an intimate no-holds-barred interview with Sun journalist, Gordon Smart. And then a walk on the red carpet to the coveted Glamour Women Of The Year Awards. Which team will do their supermodel mentors proud?

The teams head for Paris, for a fashion shoot with a high-end designer, Longchamp. A shock is in store, as one girl is eliminated immediately on arrival -the others must fight individually for a place in the final. Only four out of seven will make it.

Four girls have made it this far. The supermodel mentors do all they can to help their own remaining girls win. Max Factor set the girls a series of challenges -and judge each one. The finale concludes with a star-studded catwalk at One Mayfair -where the winner is announced and crowned.
