The Fall

Ten days after serial killer Paul Spector absconded to Scotland, the investigation into his crimes has stalled. Surviving victim Annie Brawley struggles to recall details about her ordeal, and Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson is running out of time and money to continue the search for Spector.

Stella realises that her mistakes have led Spector to Rose Stagg. Fearing for Rose's safety, the police step up their investigation.

With the killer's identity now known to the police, Stella focuses on tracking down Spector and puts his family under surveillance.

Still reeling from the invasion of her hotel room, Gibson catches a break when she discovers that Spector is Annie Brawley's grief counselor. She finally locates Spector and puts him under surveillance, but the discovery of a dead woman's body could deal a heavy blow.

As Stella closes in on Spector, he decides to make a play for freedom but the past is catching up with him with devastating consequences.

The police interrogate Spector in custody, but he refuses to cooperate. In the end, Gibson must confront Spector herself if she has any hope of finding Rose Stagg before it's too late.
