The Hodges

The Hodges is a real life comedy about Comedian Mario Hodge's life as a struggling comedian. His wife Nicole, played by Keldamuzik is the breadwinner and the glue that keeps this family together as they try their best to figure out what life has to offer.

Mario is stiffed by his promoter and can't face his wife with the news of his inability to pay their mortgage. He is relieved when his friend presents a solution to pay his mortgage.

Nicole wants to take Mario on a ride in a car that isn't paid for. Then they receive unexpected vistors.

Mario's infidelity is in question by Nicole and Pastor Torin Newsome as he continues to take his comedy show on the road. Nicoles sexy, flirtatious cousin Toodie, played by Candace Coogler, drops in to make matters worst.

Mario arrives home early off tour to surprise his wife Nicole for their Anniversary, only to find her in another man's arms. Makayla gets a lecture after class from Mrs. Smith played by Janet Lynn Saunders, to see why her grades are suddenly dropping.

Does Mario look like Terry Crews? His friend Jerrell Parker seems to believe so when he tells a beautiful young cancer patient, played by Marisha Hodge that he could introduce her to Terry Crews because that was her life long dream. Jerrell is just really trying to help but his decision making puts Mario at risk.
