The Journey Home

Midge, the chironomid, awakens to find himself no longer on Earth, but a space station. Along with his new friends Doc, the cricket, and Marbo, the spider, Midge learns that they were brought out into space for experiments by the humans. Midge encourages his new friends to escape their room to find the farm that is supposed to be on the station so they can find other bugs and fresh food.

Having found the farm completely rotted, Midge convinces Doc and Marbo that their only option left is to get off the space station and go back to Earth.
