February 24, 1996, Frank Black Jr., the owner of a school bus company, goes missing. The FBI needs to determine if he is dead. It's a mystery built on lies that can only be solved when someone is brave enough, to tell the truth.

On December 3, 2001, Louisiana Melton and her boyfriend Phillip Brown are found shot dead. A Houston police detective, armed with meager crime-scene evidence but a long list of potential suspects, uncovers one huge lie.
