A respected doctor (Baltasar Kormákur) lives an ordinary life in a quiet suburb of Reykjavík. Things begin to unravel when his daughter introduces her dangerous and manipulative new boyfriend to the family. As his daughter's spins out of control and her boyfriend proves himself extremely vicious, the doctor makes a desperate, violent decision.
