This short doc centers on a fiery, funny NYC park volunteer, Maria Lall, who built a garden on a neglected strip of parkland. She volunteered in the park with Parks Department permission. However, eventually her work, and possibly her larger-than-life personality, runs afoul of this agency. This film is the drama that ensued.
