This anthology film traces one pair of silver shoes from present day back to the 1930s, when they were made. Along the way, we meet all of the women who owned them -- a woman named Carol diagnosed with cancer (Z. Delisa Richardson), a party waitress, a politician, a stoner, and eventually, Delores (Tammy Duensing), a woman who meets a foreigner (Cody Heuer) on a train leaving California.
