The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror

Bart and Lisa attempt to scare each other with tales of macabre in "Bad Dream House", "Hungry are the Damned" and a satire of Poe's "The Raven".

Homer announces he would sell his soul for a donut and the Devil shows up to take him up on the offer. Bart believes he sees a malevolent gremlin on the side of the school bus. And Mr. Burns is Dracula, in a spoof of Francis Ford Coppola's vampire film.

Bart and Lisa discover an evil creature living in the attic, Lisa inadvertently creates a miniature civilization, and aliens Kang and Kodos run for President of the United States.

In "I Know What You Diddily-Iddly-Did" the Simpsons fear they have killed Ned Flanders. "Desperately Xeeking Xena" satirizes superheroes with "Stretch Dude" Bart and "Clobber Girl" Lisa. And "Life's a Glitch, Then You Die" depicts the horror of Y2K.

This annual terror-themed trilogy features "Send in the Clones", where Homer is able to make copies of himself which terrorize the town, "The Fright to Creep and Scare Harms", in which Springfield enacts a gun ban with disastrous consequences, and "The Island of Dr. Hibbert", where the Simpsons visit an island where science has gone awry.

An android son replaces Bart; Homer and friends are the quarry in Mr. Burns' hunting tournament; a witch turns townsfolk into their Halloween costumes.
