The Tick

The Mustache, a secret weapon by the government to make up for the facial hair gap in 1974 (the Russians were working on The Russian Beard), is trying to meet up with The Beard, so it chooses Tick's lip for protection. The Mustache is being pursued by Jim Rage and the ladies of Project Shave, who are out to destroy it.

Dinosaur Neil and Dot are getting married but Chairface Chippendale has replaced Neil's medication, re-activating his dinosaur gene when he's under stress. And what could be more stressful than a wedding? Neil grows into the dinosaur again, going on a rampage, while Tick, Arthur, and Dot race to bring him back to normal in time for the wedding!

After the Deerfield Aztec baseball team's plane crashes on its way to the international finals in Mexico, the team decides to live like real Aztecs. Years later in present day, Aztec Leader Wally sends the team out to kidnap fellow member Carmelita to marry her, but they pick up Arthur by mistake. So Tick and Carmelita join forces to rescue him.

Looking for action, Baron Violent is thrilled when Tick shows up to battle. While Tick frets over his dog Speak, Arthur steals the Baron's muscle belt, which supplies his power. With the belt removed, Baron runs off, while Tick runs Speak to the vet. Meanwhile, Arthur likes his new physique from the muscle belt, as well as the power it shares!

Mr. Mental steals a secret device from mad scientist Julius Pendecker, and he hypnotizes The Tick and Arthur to make them believe he is a baby to get their protection. Of course, he forgets the device in the cab and tries to convince Mynda, who now works as a secretary for Captain Sanity, to get it for him.

The Tick and Arthur help Sewer Urchin, whose domain is threatened by The Filth! The heroes visit Urchin's apartment where they prepare for battle, and Tick and Arthur realize that Urchin is very rich and cultured. From there, the group navigates some of the many hazards of the sewer for the final confrontation between The Sewer Czar and Filth!

The Tick participates in a superhero exchange program by going to Belgium, where he teams up with sidekick Blitzen to help locate the kidnapped King. Filling in for The Tick is Blitzen's superhero Éclair, who pairs up with Arthur to battle The Breadmaster and his wicked hench-cookies, The Gingerbreadmen!

The heroes are invited to a Mad Science Fair to test out a mind-transference device invented by Dr. Vatoss. Unfortunately, the device is stolen by Professor Chromedome and nearly every character changes minds with someone else. Chairface Chippendale ends up in the Tick's body and wants to keep it that way…permanently!

Tick and Arthur get transferred back in time – about 3.5 million years back during prehistoric times. After six months of living with a tribe of ape-men, Tick and Arthur are "saved" when a luxury hotel manager kidnaps them to replace his waitstaff, who have quit. And fortunately for Tick and Arthur, they have portable time machines to spare!

Tick and Arthur are chosen to teach superhero school, training the prospective heroes in the basics of being "a defender of all that's good!" When they're confronted with what appears to be a real-life villain in Uncle Creamy, they show up at the next Uncle Creamy event to take down the villains in a "pop quiz" to save the children from harm.
