HG Wells' classic sci-fi tale sees Alex, a professor tinkering with early 20th century technology. When he loses his fiancée, Alex uses a secret time-travelling machine to change the present by going into the past. When he fails, he goes forward 800,000 years to an era with two races - the Eloi and Morlocks.
