Teacher Evan Farnsworth doesn't suck up to his boarding-school students; he simply conveys his love of literature to them, and encourages them to think outside the box. With Christmas approaching, Evan's colleague Clarissa hopes to spend some time together. But still grieving over the tragic loss of his wife, Evan volunteers to watch over three kids who have to spend the holidays at school.
