The World From Above

This South African aerial journey begins at Cape Town, atop of Table Mountain, before heading south around the Cape of Good Hope, then back up to some of the best known vineyards around Stellenbosch. We then head east to Hermanus and a spot of whale watching before flying along the beautiful Garden Route to Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape.

This American aerial journey begins on the Hudson River about a hundred miles upstream from New York at one of the many beautiful mansions overlooking the river. Heading south we take in West Point Military Academy, Sing Sing, and Sleepy Hollow. The river then takes us down to the city that never sleeps, and perhaps the best known city in the world, New York.

This aerial journey in Denmark begins over the sea approaching Rødby Harbour on Lolland Island before crossing to Falster Island and its beaches and bridges. We then fly east to Copenhagen, the capital city, before going north past royal palaces to the end of our journey at Kronborg Castle, immortalized as Hamlet's Castle from Shakespeare's play.

This American aerial journey begins at the old whaling harbor of New Bedford, before crossing Buzzards Bay to Martha's Vineyard. Then it's across to Nantucket before heading north across the sound to Cape Cod and Hyannis Port. At the end of the Cape peninsula is the old harbor of Provincetown, where the pilgrims on board the Mayflower put ashore on American soil for the first time.

This journey in South Africa starts by the Drakensberg Mountains in KwaZulu Natal and then crosses some of the bloodiest battlefields of the 19th century. The journey then heads south to Pretoria, Johannesburg and Bloemfontein, before heading west to Kimberly, and its diamond mines. From there it's down the west coast, before finishing the journey in the dramatic Cederberg Mountains.

This American journey starts in northeast New York State at Lake Champlain, before heading west into the Adirondack Park and then turning north to Lake Placid, once home to the winter Olympics. From there it is west across the state to the St. Lawrence River and the Thousand Islands, before following the shoreline of Lake Ontario to Rochester, before heading upstream to Niagara Falls.

This aerial journey across the picturesque Balearic island of Menorca begins in the north west of the island at Ciutadella before heading for the coast and flying past cliffs, beaches, and clear blue seas. Flying north up the east coast are a number of old tower castles, and fishing villages turned into resorts. We end our journey at the lighthouse on Cap de Cavalleria.

This journey across southern Germany begins at the island town of Lindau on Lake Constance. We then head west past a series of dramatic castles before arriving at the spa town of Baden-Baden. From there it is east past the city of Ulm and then southwards to Fusen and on into the Bavarian Alps and a series of fantasy castles.

This aerial journey begins at the north-east corner of Portugal at Bragança. At Braga we look at two impressive monasteries before heading for the coast at Viana do Castelo and then south past resorts before arriving at Porto, the home of port wine. From there our journey travels inland past a landscape of vineyards before ending at the great fortress at Almeida on the border with Spain.
