While war rages in the Ottoman Empire, Hussein raises his younger brother Theeb in a Bedouin community isolated by the desert. Their quiet existence is interrupted when a British Army officer arrives looking for a guide. Theeb secretly follows along after Hussein agrees to lead him to his destination, but they soon find themselves ambushed in dangerous territory amidst threatening terrain.
