Soviet Kazakhstan in 1979. Sher, who lives with his older sister, becomes an intern in a special task force led by the competent Soviet investigator Snegirev. Sherís internship begins with the emergence of a cannibalistic serial killer that only kills women. New victims occur and the investigation seems to be at a blind alley.
