Finally, we meet Dante, a rescue dog turned dock diving champion.

This week on 'To The Rescue,' Tommy Habeeb visits Alaqua Animal Refuge, home to rescue animals of all shapes and sizes-from dogs and cats to horses, parrots, and tortoises. We explore two heartwarming stories: Barely, a dog who overcame a traumatic past and found a loving home with a woman who also survived trauma, and Miss Martha, a senior dog thriving after escaping a hoarding situation.

This week on 'To The Rescue,' Tommy Habeeb teams up with the Dowdy Ferry Animal Commission, a dedicated group fighting animal abuse in their city. Led by Jeremy Boss, inspired by rescuing his dog Dowdy, they patrol Dowdy Ferry Road, a notorious spot for abandoned dogs. Meanwhile, Romeo the husky recovers from a wild animal attack, and a local teacher rescues a dog thrown into a lake.

Even the best shelters need help sometimes. This week on *To The Rescue,* Tommy Habeeb joins Bissell Pet Foundation at Franklin County Animal Control in Tennessee. Partnering with Operation Freedom Ride, they aim to find forever homes for shelter dogs. We also meet Rowdy, a misunderstood border collie discovering a new purpose, and Bailee, a shelter pup who makes a miraculous transformation.

In the rescue world, love always finds a way. Tommy visits Safe in Austin, a unique ranch home to differently-abled rescue animals near Austin, TX. Halo, a one-legged dog, shines as she learns to run on her new prosthetics, while Cobb rolls freely on his new wheels.
