A young criminal named Chase breaks out of prison and whilst on the run from the police, seeks refuge with his cousin Dalton. Chase persuades Dalton to join him on a cop-killing spree but Dalton's girlfriend Kaddy wants to stop him from getting involved and threatens to leave him.
