Top Chef Canada

Eden Grinshpan and Mark McEwan welcome eleven chefs, representing the next generation of Canadian culinary stars, to compete in the country's most-prestigious cooking competition as they battle it out for the title of Canada's Top Chef.

In a high-stakes QuickFire Challenge, the chefs are asked to produce a dish while making as little food waste as possible. Then, the competitors face the ultimate farm-to-table Elimination Challenge as they create a dish honoring Canadian farms.

It's a mash-up of trends as the chefs must create dishes that combine two of the hottest food crazes. Then, the competitors go on a culinary voyage with a fine-dining feast inspired by eight different regions in Mexico.

The chefs have their vision and leadership tested when they are tasked with teaching a dish to a culinary student. After a curveball creates kitchen chaos, the competitors are divided into teams to create the ultimate menu for the Restaurant Wars.

In the QuickFire Challenge, the chefs pick from herbs, spice and everything nice to make a high-quality dessert. Then, it's game on as the competitors cater a rink-side party for a hockey team that features the chefs' take on upgraded arena food.

Top Chef Canada: All Stars winner Nicole Gomes is back in the kitchen for a Quickfire Challenge that puts a new spin on an old favorite -- fried chicken. In the Elimination Challenge, the chefs give the flatbread food revolution some international flair.

The final five are challenged to recreate the richness of classic French dishes using only plant-based ingredients. Then, Top Chef Canada: All Stars alumni Dustin Gallagher returns as the chefs must pair canapes with wine for an exclusive cocktail party.

The final four go head-to-head in a high-stakes QuickFire Challenge that determines who will move on to the finale. Then in a course-to-course Elimination Challenge, the chefs battle to serve meals of a lifetime to win it all and become Canada's Top Chef.
