Rich and Sandi are trapping wolves on their Northern Alberta registered trapline. The winter is deep and cold and Mother Nature is present in all her cruelest finery!

Rich and Sandi have a fun time chasing muskrats with pole sets on a local lake in early October

Rich travels to the far NW corner of Alberta in the deepest cold of January to trap lynx on the Steen River trap line with the Schaub men.

Rich and Sandi load up the Argo and start out to set the marten and fisher line for the new season. Lots of work to be done and a few laughs along the way.

Rich and Sandi set up on a cross over for the season. The cross over is one of the natural funnels on a trapline and the 2 part series follows the sets through the season.

The Cross over continues to produce into the spring.

Rich and Sandi set up the lynx snare pens for the start of lynx trapping season.

Rich travels north to the Steen River to trap wolverine with the Schaubs.

Mink are everywhere on the line and rich and Sandi spend sometime setting up and catching mink in targeted funnels.

It late winter earl spring and Rich checks his otter line and the blind trail otter sets.
