When a new victim is found dead Adam finds himself absolved and able to focus on the puzzle of his past, however new conclusions from Julia and his shrink back him into a corner.

Adam finally fills in the missing pieces of his past and finds an explanation for his relationship with Dr. Billon, but his role in the killings is still dubious and the police are at a loss.

As Adam finally understands the link between his past and present, he is bereft of allies and alone with the knowledge that he must pay for what he has done. The truth will come out.
