Tristan und Isolde

Stephan Märki's vision of Tristan and Isolde transports us to the universe where Isolde sees Tristan resurrected. The production was created at the Cottbus State Theatre, which was named 'Opera House of the Year 2023' in 'Opernwelt' magazine. Wolfgang Schreiber praised the stage design as 'Stage Design of the Year' and honoured Märki and Fürhofer's 'interstellar vision'.
