A Federal Security Service captain Oleg Rezvov (nicknamed Frisky) and a FSS senior lieutenant Artem Atalyants (nicknamed Italian) receive a new task: they must intrude the criminal grouping of one Black Sea city, gather information and prepare for its capture. Frisky and Italian open a nightclub and an illegal casino in a mansion.

A dangerous visit of the bandits turns into a meeting between Frisky and his old comrade Resin. Now he is the brigadier of the part of the group headed by Barik Kubanyan, nicknamed Cuba. Resin is ready to present Frisky and Italian to Cuba. Cuba gives the heroes the first task to check their reliability - to squeeze money from one businessman.

Alla, messenger from the Center, gives Frisky and Italian information about the huge thief gathering in the city and the intentions of the police to perform an exemplary takeover. Heroes manage to come up with a legend and offer Cuba a plan that allows not to cancel the meeting and to outwit the "cops". Cuba listens to their advice - and everything goes according to plan.

Italian begins a risky romance with Kira, Cuba's daughter. Kondratenko threatens to arrest Frisky and Resin, but he has no real clues. Glotov, the head of the Cuba's security service, doesn't trust Frisky and Italian and wants to disclose them. Glotov communicates anonymously with Kondratenko and skillfully provokes him to abduct Vera. Frisky, Italian and Resin rush to save the girl.

Cuba's wife has some kind of secret, Cuba's son has problems with drugs, and the relationship of his daughter Kira and Italian is becoming too serious, Glotov accepts Cuba's daughter's romance, and Cuba is forced to take emergency measures. He sends Italian and Frisky to Abkhazia to look after the winery, where things are not as good as reported by Abkhazian Cuba's partners.

In Abkhazia, Italian and Frisky reveal a series of deceptions, thus proving to Cuba that the wine industry and the cunningly designed plan for the transportation of bottles across the border, Cuba's partners use to transport drugs. Cuba is planning a terrible revenge.

Italian and Frisky showed themselves brilliantly during the Abkhazian operation, and after the return, Italian decided to ask Cuba's permission to meet with his daughter officially. At this time, Frisky, who has just started to get along with Vera, suddenly finds himself in the pretrial detention center. This is the Glotov's work, who decided to use the old clues and make Frisky admitted.

Frisky meets Murza in prison - a man from the distant past, who is clearly hiding something. Also, Frisky doubts he has the right to force Vera to wait until he has served his term. At this time, Italian on the tip of the FSS goes on the trail of visiting killers. Cuba is preparing to celebrate his daughter's birthday and refuses to listen to Glotov, who warns him about the danger of an attempt.

With the efforts of doctors, Italian survives after being injured. Now Cuba is convinced of his sincerity, but the Center doesn't understand what made the agent so risk his life. Alla manages to get dirt on Glotov, but the head of the operation Khromov is not in a hurry to give this information a course.

Italian finds out about Kira's pregnancy. She is happy to make plans, he - realizes how much he got confused. Glotov is getting out of control and showing excessive cruelty. He tortures Frisky, trying to get the truth out of him. Khromov is ready to stop the operation in order to get Frisky out of it. But Italian and Resin have time to save Frisky by themselves.

Cuba confirms that he took Italian to the Family. Vera hesitates - she met an ideal man, but she can't forget Frisky. Cuba's cases aren't good - Moscow raiders attacking his assets, coming out of the shadows. People start to die. Cuba is forced to give the raiders a piece of land on which oil is discovered.

Khromov promises to Italian that Cuba will be arrested after the wedding. A Frisky suspects Khromov that he works not only for the FSS. Frisky is disappointed in Khromov, because Khromov doesn't keep his word to Italian. Khromov decides to recruit Cuba during the wedding of Kira and Italian. Their conversation turns into a giant tragedy. Only a few people will survive.
