1. Inverness to the Isle of Skye
Following single-track roads from one side of the stunning Scottish Highlands to the other, Peter and Chris retrace the route of 1930s car enthusiasts into some of the UK’s most extreme driving country. Along the way, they fire up a 1903 “Dog Cart,” venture up the notorious Inverfarigaig Corkscrew in a vintage 3-wheel rally car, and cross over to Skye on the world’s oldest car ferry of its kind.

2. London to Land’s End
Peter and Chris set out from London to motor down the entire length of the A30, originally an 18th-century coach road that runs for nearly 300 miles of ever-changing English countryside before it reaches Cornwall and Land’s End. On the trip, they recreate Britain's first recorded car journey in a 1900 Georges Richard automobile and reproduce the roadside picnics of Peter’s youth.

3. Cardiff to Snowdonia
Peter and Chris travel through dream driving country into the Rhondda Valley, across the Brecon Beacons into breathtaking Snowdonia. They investigate the subversive origins of the AA (Automobile Association), recreate a vintage speed trap, hitch a lift to the top of the world’s biggest slate mine, and meet up with one of Chris’s oldest friends.
