After testifying against two former colleagues in a rape case, Captain Julia Scola faces hostility from some of her fellow police officers as she investigates a woman"s disappearance. The case is disturbing: there"s a large pool of blood on the floor and a wolf in the garage. But Julia"s focus is tested when her childhood antagonist and teenage love arrives as the newly appointed commissioner.
