W.A.S.P. A Wartime Experiment in Womanpower

W.A.S.P. A Wartime Experiment in Womanpower

In WW2, a select group of women volunteered to fly for the United States Army Air Forces. These brave ladies stepped in at a critical time during the war when all qualified men were needed to fly and fight overseas. These women flyers were known as WASP Women Air Force Service pilots. They would train in the same military manner as the men and fly every airplane in the USAAF inventory.
