Wentworth

Bea’s first day in prison is full of challenges. Still in shock and desperate to speak to her daughter, Bea tries to keep her head down and fit in among the inmates, but they have other ideas.

Meg’s murder brings unwanted publicity to Wentworth, so the general manager comes to visit and search for a new governor.

Bea expects a visit from Debbie, while Franky receives letters from her estranged father. Erica tries to adapt to her new role as governor, but after witnessing an incident in the wet cells, the changes she wants to make may lose her the officers’ support.

Erica organizes a big media event where several of the women are scheduled to speak about their progress. Debbie visits again and witnesses a tragic occurrence, while Liz prepares for her parole hearing.

After her disastrous speech at the media event, Liz resumes drinking to cope, and Erica taps Doreen for the open peer-worker position. Erica dreams about Franky, which makes tutoring her all the more difficult.

Vera tries out a new look that gives her a much-needed boost of confidence. Toni returns from isolation but gets dragged into the ongoing war between Jacs and Franky, even after changing units.

With Franky confined to the slot for five weeks, Jacs rules Wentworth with an iron fist and plans a vicious “surprise” for Franky’s release. Will spirals out of control and takes his anger out on everyone.

Tensions rise and security tightens following Jacs’s release back into the compound, though Erica tries to convince Jacs to go into protection. Unbeknownst to Bea, Brayden leads Debbie into drug use.

Bea is devastated when she learns what happened to Debbie, despite Will’s best efforts to comfort her. Erica and Vera grow suspicious when Fletch begins acting strangely.

When she finds out Brayden’s true identity, Bea is convinced that Jacs instigated Debbie’s death and asks Erica to contact the police. Vera and Fletch reconcile, but what she finds in his apartment changes their relationship
