Alex, a young teen, is sent off to a remote boarding school. In his attempt to adapt, he falls in with a group of rebel outcasts. Together they plan an escape based on childish stories of others that managed to succeed. On the night of their escape their plans are foiled by a dark revelation that will unite them forever in a tale of love, friendship and growing up.
