Wildlife conservationist John "Griff" Griffith heads to Animal Tracks animal sanctuary. Griff's tasks for the day are to bathe a pair of monkeys, lift the spirits of a kookaburra, and give a manicure to porcupines.

Wild activist John "Griff" Griffith heads out to WildCare. First it's meal prep for a hungry squirrel and gull before their triumphant return to the wild. Then they tend to a sick opossum that ingested rat poison.

John "Griff" Griffith finds himself in Acton, California, at Farm Sanctuary. Joined by Alicia Pell, Griff is helping give previously abused animals a second chance at life. Alicia and Griff need to feed the 100-plus animals that live at Farm Sanctuary.

John "Griff" Griffith heads to the Ojai Raptor Center in Southern California. They help feed, trim and release birds of prey. He helps Jaclyn feed a particularly dangerous turkey vulture, who is very likely to attack.

John "Griff" Griffith heads to the Phoenix Herpetological Society in Phoenix, Arizona, where he meets Dr. Justin Georgi and hugs an Asian water monitor. Then, Dr. Georgi and Griff take Mr. Stubbs to see how well the alligator is walking with his new tail.

John "Griff" Griffith heads to Montgomery Creek Ranch to learn the story of Ellie Phipps Price, who rescued hundreds of wild horses from slaughter. Most of these horses will remain unbroken, but corralling the horses to provide basic care is no easy feat.

With hundreds of thousands of sea lions populating northern California, there's no question as to why the Marine Mammal Care Center was founded in the area in 1975. John "Griff" Griffith joins Lauren Palmer as they rescue and rehabilitate the sea lions.

Griff joins Cale Morris, also known as the Venom Teacher, in Phoenix, Arizona, to learn about rattlesnakes. Cale has been doing research to debunk myths about rattlesnakes, namely, that rattlesnakes aren't nearly as aggressive as people think.
