At 27 years old, high school feels like a long time ago to Bec, Jenny, Frances, and Sophie. But how much do people really change in ten years? With a surprise invitation to their reunion, these former friends are about to discover if they're now seen as "winners" in the life lottery--or the losers they were a decade earlier.

Having won eight million dollars, Bec, Frances, and Sophie grapple with whether to share it with Jenny. The lottery win sets off a chain of events in the girls' personal lives, as Bec pressures her fiancé, Matt, to set a wedding date, and Frances decides to start her own firm.

The girls have to start getting used to the idea that they are now rich. When they meet up to celebrate their win, Frances bumps into her main business competitor, Zach Armstrong. Sophie solves her accommodation problem by buying her apartment.
