In 2007, single mother of three Paige Birgfeld went missing. Police in Grand Junction, Colorado investigating her disappearance discovered she'd been secretly working as an escort and suspected one of her clients of abducting and killing her.

In 1999 and 2000, John Eric Armstrong cruised the streets of Detroit, Michigan looking for sex workers. Seen as an ordinary husband, father and co-worker, no one in Armstrong's life suspected that he was a serial killer.
