Legia. Till the End

The new coach, new sports director, and the managing director are establishing new rules. Only after their appointments do they realize the full disastrous impact of the previous season on the club. Bartek Kapustka is trying to get back in shape following a severe injury. The league games are starting, but Legia loses a key team member after two matches. The coach chooses Josué.

The Scouting Department is working on strengthening Legia's ranks. New players Rafał Augustyniak and Carlitos join the team. Meanwhile, after nearly a decade, Legia will face Widzew, its archrival. This will happen at their stadium in Łódź, where every throat is against the Warsaw players. The struggle in the Polish Cup kicks off as well.

Legia faces a painful defeat against one of the contenders for the title. And the match against Miedź Legnica – a chance for the team to redeem itself – starts with a fatal loss of two goals. Fortunately, Paweł Wszołek takes care of the atmosphere in the group. Still, there's more bad news. The club is in serious financial trouble.

The players and staff are back after the winter break. Legia is nine points behind the table leader, so there is no room for slacking off. The team flies to a training camp in Turkey to prepare for the spring round. Young Igor Strzałek's presence on the team is becoming increasingly prominent. The club has no funds for transfers.

The time has come for the return games. Legia plays Widzew and Raków at home. Both matches are emotional high points of the season, and Legia must win both – for the team, for the fans, and to maintain its chance for the championship. A coming-up Cup game is even more critical. Legia faces a semifinal in Kalisz, the course of which many would like to erase from memory.

The games are entering a decisive phase. Despite the point loss, Legia still believes in chasing down Raków Czestochowa and winning the league title. And the long-awaited day in the Polish Cup games finally comes – the grand final at the National Stadium. If both titles slip through Legia's fingers, the whole season will be a disappointment.
